What is Honest Drunk?
Honest Drunk is a free online party game for adults that you play on everyone's phones, with no app to download. Each player secretly answers personal questions, then every round turns one answer into a public question like "Who runs multiple talking stages at once?". The room votes on who they think it is, and a dramatic reveal shows the truth. It's a truth game, a social deduction game and, if you want, a drinking game, made for pregames (predrinks), nights at the bar, birthdays and group calls. Not for a quiet night in.

One person opens a room on honestdrunk.com. Everyone else scans the QR code or types the 4-letter code on their phone.
No download, no sign-up, no email. Pick a nickname, an emoji, and whether you're drinking or playing zero-drink. That's the whole setup.
Step 2 · Your eyes only
Answer in secret.
Everyone gets 10 personal questions on their own phone: exes, situationships, red flags, soft launches, group-chat crimes. Real questions, real tea.
Nobody sees your answers, not even the host. Not feeling one? Skip it, zero penalty.
Step 3 · The room decides
Then the room votes.
Each round turns one confession into a public question, like "Who runs multiple talking stages at once?".

Drinking is always optional

+Is Honest Drunk free?
Yes. It's completely free, with no ads, no paywall and no premium version.
+Do I need to download an app?
No. Honest Drunk runs in the browser: one person opens a room on honestdrunk.com and everyone joins by scanning the QR code or typing the 4-letter room code.
+How many players do you need?
At least 3 and up to 20. It's at its best with 4 to 10 friends in the same room.
+Do I have to drink?
Never. Every player can choose zero-drink and still plays everything. Drinking consequences are one sip, never a shot, and every third one is water.
+Can other players see my answers?
No. Your answers stay on your phone. The game only reveals what the room voted and who matches the answer picked for each round, never your list of answers.
+How long does a game last?
Usually 20 to 40 minutes: everyone answers 10 private questions, then you play up to 8 public rounds, and the night ends with an animated recap.
+Can we play at a bar or online?
Yes. Everyone plays on their own phone, so it works at a bar table, at a pregame at home, or online: share the room link in the group chat and play together on a video call.
+Is it like Truth or Drink, Never Have I Ever or Most Likely To?
It's in the same family of party games, with a twist: answers are secret, so the room has to guess who said what. Getting fooled is half the fun.
+What happens to my data?
Rooms, nicknames, votes and reactions are deleted automatically 12 hours after the room is created. Answers are only kept as anonymous stats, with no name or anything linking them to you, so we can see which questions work. No account, no email, no ad tracking. Details are in the privacy policy.
